I agree that technology has made communication less valuable. I always think face-to-face is better. You can only garner so much emotion from texts. Though, all of the men I've been in relationships with, have always put smileys on their texts, which helped me know how they were feeling. I only date men who are upfront anyway. Every now and then, but not often, there is something they're keeping from you. In another sense, phones are key to keeping a relationship going. I can't imagine how anyone keeps up a relationship if they don't use a phone. In fact, how would you? Especially if you both live far from each other.
